Here's How Jason Kidd Thinks Cooper Flagg Can Learn From LeBron James

"Everything," Kidd said when asked what Flagg could learn from James. "You talk about winning, you talk about longevity, you talk about always improving their game each year, and then just understanding having fun."
One of LeBron's greatest achievements has been players' empowerment, both within the NBA and outside it. He has leveraged his basketball success to financially empower himself. But he has done it without cheating the game.
"LeBron has turned his company into a billion-dollar industry...It's not easy to be a GOAT or to be considered one of the best to do it.
But the biggest thing is LeBron's putting in time; he's working extremely hard at his craft, and so it's paid off, and he's going to go down as one of the best."
Flagg can certainly take lessons from LeBron's career, but he certainly is capable of carving his own path. On Sunday, when James and Flagg matched up, the Mavs rookie showed up big time.
Cooper Flagg takes down shorthanded LeBron James' Lakers in historic matchup
Right after a 50-point game against the Orlando Magic, Cooper Flagg followed up with a 45-point game in a 134-128 win against the Lakers.
The Mavs rookie shot 14 of 27 shots from the field, including 2 of 4 from the 3-point line. Flagg dominated the game from the opening period, tallying 19 points in the first quarter alone. He finished the first half with 26 points.
He became the first rookie to have a 40-point game against LeBron James. The Mavs player is also the first rookie since Allen Iverson in the 1996-97 season to record back-to-back 40-point games.
With both Austin Reaves and Luka Doncic out for the regular season, James took over the Lakers' offense. However, his 30-point game couldn't save the Lakers' night. He recorded 30 points, 9 rebounds and 15 assists in 39 minutes.
James and Flagg together became the first two NBA players to have at least 20 points while one player was 41 years old, while the other was a teenager.
